"The Merry-Go-Round",[1] also known as simply "Merry-Go-Round",[2] is a musical theme composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario 64, where it plays in the merry-go-round room in Big Boo's Haunt.

Super Mario 64 / Super Mario 64 DS[edit]

Super Mario 64 marks the first appearance of "The Merry-Go-Round", and it returns for the same purpose in the Nintendo DS remake, Super Mario 64 DS, and the Nintendo Switch port, Super Mario 3D All-Stars. It is also included in the official Super Mario 64 Original Soundtrack album.

In Super Mario 64 DS, an arrangement of "The Merry-Go-Round" arranged by Kenta Nagata plays in the minigames Bingo Ball, Slots Shot, and Lakitu Launch.

New Super Mario Bros.[edit]

In New Super Mario Bros., the minigame arrangement of "The Merry-Go-Round" from Super Mario 64 DS plays in the minigames Lakitu Launch and Vs. Lakitu Launch. It is likewise titled "Vs. Lakitu Launch" in the Nintendo Music app.

Mario Party 6[edit]

In Mario Party 6, mazurka-inspired music with similar notes to "The Merry-Go-Round" plays in Speak Up's Comparison Quiz. It is titled "Question Music 4" in the game's sound test
