"The Merry-Go-Round,"[1] also known as simply "Merry-Go-Round,"[2] is a musical theme composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario 64, where it plays in the merry-go-round room in Big Boo's Haunt.

Mario Kart 8 / Mario Kart 8 Deluxe "The Merry-Go-Round" can be heard at the Aqua Cups ride near the end of Water Park.
Minecraft "The Merry-Go-Round" is one of the several themes that can play in the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack.

In Mario Party 6, mazurka-inspired music with similar notes to "The Merry-Go-Round," titled "Question Music 4" in the game's sound test, plays in Speak Up's Comparison Quiz.

Super Mario 64 DS[edit]

In Super Mario 64 DS, the Nintendo DS remake of Super Mario 64, an arrangement of "The Merry-Go-Round" arranged by Kenta Nagata plays in the minigames Bingo Ball, Slots Shot, and Lakitu Launch. This arrangement returns in New Super Mario Bros., where it plays in the minigames Lakitu Launch and Vs. Lakitu Launch.
