Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island marks the first appearance of "Yoshi's Island". It is also included in the official albums Super Mario: Yossy Island Original Sound Version and Play it Loud! Original Soundtrack Volume 1.

In the Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, an arrangement of "Yoshi's Island" arranged by Taiju Suzuki plays for the same purpose as in the original game.

Tetris Attack[edit]

A faithful arrangement of "Yoshi's Island" plays in Yoshi's Village. It is titled "Welcome to Yoshi's Village" in the Nintendo Music app. It is also included in the official Paper Mario Game Music Soundtrack CD album.

A faster-paced, frantic arrangement of "Yoshi's Island" plays when the Fearsome 5 are missing. It is titled "Search for the Fearsome 5" in the Nintendo Music app.
