Squitter is one of Donkey Kong's animal friends. It must take him hours to lace up the four pairs of shoes he wears... The spiderwebs he shoots from his mouth can damage enemies, and they also can make platforms to walk on. But can he use them to make shoe racks? (American English)

Trivia[edit]

  • While most real-world spiders produce silk from their backsides, Squitter is able to shoot it from his mouth. However, members of the spider family Scytodidae are actually able to spit harmful venom-infused silk from their chelicerae, and Squitter even resembles these spiders, as both have an orange coloration with dark spots. According to character designer Steve Mayles, this resemblance is coincidental.[1]
