- “When the world's most dangerous buildings go missing, when the fiercest gorillas on Earth just vanish, and the toughest Italians disappear off the streets, it can mean just one thing: they've been grabbed... by Game & Watch!”
- —Narrator, Game & Watch commercial
The mobsters, possibly named Game and Watch, are a duo of characters seen only in silhouette form in a British commercial for Game & Watch.
The mobsters are seen kidnapping the various elements seen in Donkey Kong at night to trap them in said game or Mario Bros., first by pushing one of "the world's most dangerous buildings" through unseen means, then making Donkey Kong (described as one of "the fiercest gorillas on Earth") break from his zoo cage by luring him with a banana, then finally using clubs to assault Mario, described as one of the "toughest Italians", in a park. It is suggested in the dialogue that they have kidnapped other Italians, buildings, and gorillas.
