Super Mario WorldEdit

In Super Mario World, bongo percussion is added to the instrumentation of "Underground BGM" whenever the player is riding a Yoshi. Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2Edit

In Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2, the Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario World, a version of "Underground BGM" modified to be compatible with the GBA's sound card plays in all underground levels, just like in the original game. Additional percussion is added to the instrumentation when the player rides a Yoshi.

Super Mario MakerEdit

In Super Mario Maker, an ambient arrangement of "Underground BGM" using eight tracks that fade in and out randomly to create a dynamic mix plays while editing Super Mario World-style underground-themed courses in the Course Maker. This arrangement returns in Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS and Super Mario Maker 2 for the same purpose.
