"Toad House Minigame"[1] is an arrangement of "Ground BGM" from Super Mario Bros. that plays in Toad Houses in New Super Mario Bros. Wii and its successors in the New Super Mario Bros. series. The arrangement is characterized by its brief break between the third and fourth bars. "Toad House Minigame" was arranged by Shiho Fujii.[2]

Original[edit]

Additional bass and percussion is added when a minigame starts in Red and Green Toad Houses. In Power-up Panels, the music speeds up for every Bowser or Bowser Jr. logo revealed.

"Toad House Minigame" appears to take inspiration from previous arrangements of "Ground BGM." Like the New Super Mario Bros. arrangement, the theme is transposed and has a faster tempo. The instrumentation is similar to "Super Mario 2007" from Super Mario Galaxy.
