Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island marks the first appearance of "Yoshi's Island". It is also included in the official soundtrack album Super Mario: Yossy Island Original Sound Version.

In the Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, an arrangement of "Yoshi's Island" plays for the same purpose as in the original game.

In Paper Mario, an arrangement of "Yoshi's Island" arranged by Yuka Tsujiyoko plays in Yoshi's Village and when the Fearsome 5 are missing. It is titled "Welcome to Yoshi's Village" in the official Paper Mario Game Music Soundtrack CD album.
Mario Party 4[edit]
In Mario Party 4, the theme that plays in Shy Guy's Jungle Jam is loosely based on "Yoshi's Island". It is titled "Jungle Jam" in the game's sound test, and it was arranged by Ichiro Shimakura.
