Headbonk Goombas are silver-colored Goombas found in Room 89 of the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials. They have a similar coloration to that of the Goombas found in Bowser's Castle in Super Mario Bros. As the name implies, these Goombas attack with Headbonks, unlike the other types of Goombas found in Super Paper Mario, which will simply try to ram Mario and his party (although in the first two Paper Mario games, all Goombas used the attack). Headbonk Goombas are encountered in large groups and when one attacks, the others quickly follow suit. There is a stronger dark variant of this Goomba called the Dark Headbonk Goomba, which appears in the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials. This is one of the few enemies to appear only in the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials and not in the main story. Squoinkers are enemies that also fall into this category.
