The course uses the same aesthetics as Rainbow Road from Super Mario Kart, but has a different layout. The course starts with a straight path and a left turn. After the turn is another straight path with four Item Boxes and two Star Thwomps. There is a left turn which leads to a Glide Ramp. In the gliding section, there is a large number of asteroids that can knock the player back, and in the middle of the section there is a small path of road and another Glide Ramp. The Reverse variant of the course is similar, though it only has two sets of Star Rings and includes a Mushroom Trampoline at the end of the course. The Trick variant has additional ramps, parts of the track which move like waves without Star Thwomps, and replaces both gliding sections with platforms with ramps.
