"Wii Maple Treeway"[1] is a musical theme in Mario Kart Wii, where it plays in the race course of the same name.

Mario Kart Wii[edit]
Mario Kart Wii marks the first appearance of "Wii Maple Treeway".
The theme that plays in Bowser's Castle is a more sinister, dark wave arrangement of "Wii Maple Treeway" in minor key. It is titled 「クッパキャッスル」 (Kuppa Kyassuru, "Bowser's Castle"). This theme gains a distortion effect when racing on the moving hallway, and additional percussion between the Kanaami road and the area with the Lava Geysers. It also incorporates a brief arrangement of "Castle BGM" from Super Mario Bros. at the beginning.
A brief arrangement of "Wii Maple Treeway" is incorporated in the second half of the staff credits theme. It is titled 「スタッフロールB」 (Sutaffu Rōru B, "Staff Roll B").
"Wii Maple Treeway", "Bowser's Castle", and "Staff Roll B" are all also included in the official Mario Kart Wii Platinum Soundtrack album.

Mario Kart 7[edit]
In Mario Kart 7, the original version of "Wii Maple Treeway" plays in Wii Maple Treeway. A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.

Mario Kart Tour[edit]
In Mario Kart Tour, the original version of "Wii Maple Treeway" plays in Wii Maple Treeway, which was first added in the 2020 Halloween Tour.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[edit]
In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, as part of Wave 3 of the Booster Course Pass, an arrangement of "Maple Treeway" plays in Wii Maple Treeway. A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.

Mario Kart World[edit]
In Mario Kart World, a calm, jazz arrangement of "Wii Maple Treeway" with swing rhythm can play in Free Roam. It is simply titled "Maple Treeway" in the game's pause menu. This arrangement was used to demonstrate the speaker improvements of the Nintendo Switch 2 in its overiew trailer.

Paper Mario: The Origami King[edit]
In Paper Mario: The Origami King, a much slower-paced arrangement of "Wii Maple Treeway" plays in the Tranquil Pipes Teahouse. It is likewise titled "Tranquil Pipes Teahouse" in the game's sound test.
