RMX Vanilla Lake 1 is a race course in Mario Kart Tour. It is a remix version of the Vanilla Lake courses from Super Mario Kart that debuted in the Frost Tour.

It shares its music with SNES Vanilla Lake 1, SNES Vanilla Lake 2, and RMX Vanilla Lake 2, which is the original arrangement from Super Mario Kart.

Course layoutEdit

The course uses the same aesthetics as the Vanilla Lake courses from Super Mario Kart, but has a different layout eschewing the square shaped boundaries of said tracks; it is somewhat more comparable to N64 Sherbet Land. The track starts with a left turn that takes racers to a couple of water geysers, then to a set of Item Boxes on a glide ramp which makes the racers glide over a big body of water that has two isolated ice pieces, each of them with a Water Geyser. Upon landing, there's a lone Penguin near another water geyser, followed by a right turn that leads to a section with fractured pieces of ice that the racers can use to perform tricks. After the pieces of ice, there's another set of Item Boxes followed by two 180° turns, with the last one being near two separate ice pieces with an arrow sign on each of them. After those turns, there's another set of Item Boxes, then five Water Geysers that are followed by another 180° turn with three more Penguins that leads to the finish line.

The course also appears as RMX Vanilla Lake 1R (reversed), RMX Vanilla Lake 1T (with ramps), and RMX Vanilla Lake 1R/T (reversed with ramps). The former two debuted alongside the normal variant in the Frost Tour, while the latter debuted in the 2023 Sundae Tour. In the R variant, there are now two Penguins, both at the end of the track. In the T variant, all Penguins are gone. In the R/T variant, most water geysers are gone, and besides the two Penguins at the end of the track there are three sets of Penguins which waddle across the track from one warp pipe to another. Additionally, there are hot-air balloons along the sides of the track.
