Quiztone is a Fractone who appears in Donkey Kong Bananza in several of the game's layers, identified by a bow tie and a bowler hat with a banana on its brim. When interacted with, he asks Donkey Kong a series of three questions, each with three multiple-choice answers, related to various features, mechanics, and character trivia previously encountered in the game, in a quiz show-like game titled Questones with Quiztone. After Donkey Kong successfully answers all three questions in a row, Quiztone gives him a Banandium Gem. If he answers a question incorrectly, he has to start the quiz again from the beginning.
In the DK Island & Emerald Rush DLC, a statue of Quiztone can be collected and placed on the southern side of the Northeast Rocks at DK Island.
Questones with Quiztone is similar to Swanky's Bonus Bonanza in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, hosted by Swanky Kong, who also wears a bowler hat and a vest in the same yellow checkboard pattern as Quiztone's bow in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and is even referenced in one of the incorrect answers for the final question of the Planet Core quiz; as well as the Sphynx's quizzes in Super Mario Odyssey.
