"The Divide"[1] is a musical theme in Donkey Kong Bananza, where it plays in the Divide. It consists of a droning three-note melody with atmospheric synthesized background noises.

Donkey Kong Bananza[edit]

Donkey Kong Bananza marks the first appearance of "The Divide". The game also features three additional arrangements of the theme.

When DK is on the path in the Divide that leads to the Freezer Layer, an arrangement titled "The Divide: Freezer Path" plays.

When DK is on the path that leads to the Forest Layer, an arrangement titled "The Divide: Forest Path" plays. It replaces the instrumentation with a faintly-echoing marimba.

Additionally, an arrangement of "The Divide" titled "The Junction" plays in the Junction. It features a slower melody compared to "The Divide", as well as an echoing effect in the atmospheric noises.

Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo[edit]

"The Divide: Forest Path" is played as part of Sleepy Sounds in the Donkey Kong Bananza theme for Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo.
