In Super Mario Maker, a remix of "Gnat Attack: Level 1" plays in level 1 of Gnat Attack. When playing level 1 of the hard difficulty added in version 1.20, a more heavily remixed version of will play instead.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U[edit]
In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, a medley arrangement of "Title Theme 1", "Opening 2", "Gnat Attack: Level 1", "Save & Load", "Drawing Board 2", and "Drawing Board 1" from Mario Paint arranged by Taku Inoue can play in the Miiverse stage. It is titled the "Mario Paint Medley" in the game's sound test.
Mario Kart World[edit]
In Mario Kart World, an acid jazz arrangement of "Gnat Attack: Level 1" can play on VS Race routes coming from Boo Cinema during any time of day and on any VS Race route during nighttime.
