A Reset Rocket is an object appearing in Super Mario Maker, Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, and Super Mario Maker 2. It appears in Course Maker, and its icon appears in the bottom right corner of the screen. If held down for three seconds, it shoots off and clears all course elements in both the main area and the sub-area. This action can be undone by tapping Undodog's icon.

In Super Mario Maker 2, Reset Rockets also appear in Story Mode, where they play a major part. In the opening, shortly after Mario and the Toads finish building Peach's Castle, they notice a Reset Rocket button in front of the castle. Suddenly, Undodog appears, and while they are distracted, he steps on the button and holds it down for five seconds, causing the entire castle to be erased. Much later on, in the ending sequence, as fireworks are shot into the sky and everyone waves at the player, Undodog notices another Reset Rocket button in front of the castle, which worries the others, though the end credits reveal that it was ultimately not pressed.

In Super Mario Maker, in the title screen, if the player taps the "A" in the word "MAKER", a countdown starts from three and the letter will shoot off like a rocket before clearing all items and enemies on the screen, akin to a Reset Rocket.

Also in Super Mario Maker, in 10 Mario Challenge and 100 Mario Challenge, after Mario hits the "TO BE CONTINUED" text, Undodog follows after him, riding a Reset Rocket.

In Super Mario Maker 2, when playing in the nighttime theme, a small image of Undodog riding a Reset Rocket can occasionally be seen near the top of the screen. A Reset Rocket with Soundfrog and Undodog can be placed in a Super World in the Space theme.
