Huff N. Puff is considered the hardest boss in the game, due to his Tuff Puffs and ability to absorb them to recover health. Also his strong attacks can really be a pain if at low hp.

There does exist a very easy way to defeat him; to have Goombario (Super or Ultra rank) use Charge enough times (14 times for best results) and use Headbonk or Multibonk to defeat him in one attack. [[Stone Cap|Stone Caps]] make an excellent protection for Mario for this strategy, as he technically does not need to do anything for Goombario to defeat Huff N. Puff.
The player must repeatedly tap the A button to tear them off, similar to the action command for the [[Jungle Fuzzy]]. In addition, Huff N.
