The Mario Teaches Typing series is a duology of educational games in the Super Mario franchise developed by Interplay. The series teaches players how to type using a computer keyboard and consists of Mario Teaches Typing and Mario Teaches Typing 2 as it has Mario going through many levels where typing helps him travel through them.

Mario Teaches Typing is the first installment of the series, released in 1992. Most of the gameplay consists of the player needing to type a sequence of keys in correspondence to what the computer screen displays.

An enhanced port of the game was released in 1994.

Mario Teaches Typing 2 is the second installment of the series, released in 1996. While the game is very similar to the first, it includes some major differences such as brand-new cutscenes that play between levels, along with additional gameplay features.
