Luigi's Hammer Toss is one of the three LCD game watches belonging to the Super Mario Bros. Watch line released in 1990 as promotional items by McDonald's in the United States and Japan. It is the first game to feature Luigi as the sole playable character.

Gameplay[edit]

To enter game mode, the top button on the left must be pressed to select the difficulty level, with GAME A for easy and GAME B for hard. Next, the button below it starts the game. Hammer Bros. in the clouds hurl their hammers to the ground. Luigi must move left or right to deflect the hammers off the right side of the screen with his shield. Each time he succeeds, he earns 10 points. If Luigi misses a hammer, he gets a miss. For every 500 points, he can erase a miss. He is allowed to miss five times before it is Game Over. There is a maximum of 10,000 points.
