An instrumental cover of "La Cucaracha" appears as a playable song in the European version of Donkey Konga 2. It was later featured in Donkey Konga 3 JP.
There are indistinct voices that can be heard in the background of the cover, such as counting from one to four ("Uno, dos, tres, cuatro") and calling out "Arriba!" but the song has no actual lyrics. This is unusual and in contrast to the other covers featured in the Donkey Konga games, as "La Cucaracha" does originally have lyrics.
