"Trepak," also known as "Russian Dance," is one of the pieces from the ballet called The Nutcracker, written by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. It is based on and named after the trepak, a traditional east Slavic dance. It makes several appearances in the Super Mario franchise.
