Match That Badge is a 1-2 player minigame in Donkey Konga 2 and Donkey Konga 3.
Overview[edit]
In this minigame, the player flips panels to match badges. If the player successfully matches two badges, that badge becomes unlocked for the player to use. Match That Badge initially starts out with eight panels. As the player collects more badges, the number of panels eventually expands to twelve.
Badges obtained by the player can be viewed in the Badge Collection section of the Hall of Records. The badges can be paired with high scores earned in minigames and songs.
In Donkey Konga 2, Match That Badge is played after completing a set of notes in Barrel Race, or by getting at least 100 points in Rhythm Keeper. In the Vs. mode of each minigame, the winning player always gets two chances at Match That Badge.
In Donkey Konga 3, it is played after completing one of Cranky Kong's courses in Trial mode. If two players complete a course in duet mode, both players are able to play Match That Badge together.
