"Dig Dug" is the title given to a medley of songs from the video game of the same name, which appears as a playable song in Donkey Konga 3 JP. The medley begins with the jingle that plays at the start of a game, followed by the theme that plays during stages. Sound effects from the game are mixed in occasionally. Eventually the jingle to indicate only one enemy remains will play, after which the stage theme will play again but twice as fast, just as it does in the original game. The medley ends with the jingle that plays when a stage is completed.
Specifically, the songs from the Family Computer version of the game are used as opposed to the original arcade version.
