Mario All Stars is a compilation television show that was released in 1994 on cable television,[1] first airing on The Family Channel (now Freeform), then later in edited reruns on the USA Network.[2] It features 40 episodes of the animated segments from The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! and all thirteen Super Mario World episodes with time-compressed footage and no live-action segments. No episodes from The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 are used, likely due to it instead airing on the USA Network at the time. Advertisements for the series state the episodes to be "40 brand-new adventures".[citation needed] The show was produced by Nintendo in association with DIC Entertainment, like the previous cartoons of the Super Mario franchise.

When the show aired on the USA Network, it was advertised as Super Mario Brothers All Stars.[2]

The opening and closing of the show contains scenes from the "The Mario Rap" from The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! (where Mario and Luigi are pulled down the Warp Zone and roll into Koopa Troopas), and also clips from the opening to Super Mario World. The opening theme music is a slightly shortened version of the end credits from Super Mario World.
