"Rockin' the High School"[1] is the song that appears in the Super Mario World television series episode "A Little Learning." It is a parody of the Ramones song "Rock 'n' Roll High School." This song plays as Hip and Hop Koopa's volcano project in the science fair goes out of control, while the fertilized Piranha Plant from Oogtar and Yoshi's project chases after the two and King Koopa. It was composed by Michael Tavera and Monroe Michaels.[1]

English[edit]

The temperature's risin', it's gettin' hot
Rock, rock, rockin' the high school!
The boys are comin', ready or not
Rock, rock, rockin' the high school!
One big tree's gonna steal the show!
Goin' down easy, gonna swallow you whole
We can't stop 'em now
It's gonna explode (Gonna explode!)

We're rockin' the high school, yeah!
Rock, rock, rockin' the high school!
Yeah, rockin' the high school (Boom!) (Yes!)
Rock, rock, rockin' the high school!

One big tree's gonna steal the show! (Yeah!)
Goin' down easy, gonna swallow you whole
We can't stop 'em now cause it's gonna explode
That's right, it's gonna explode
Rock, rock, rockin' the high school
Ah!
