- The front and back cover both depict artwork of Raccoon Mario from The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3.
- The front cover features cels from the episode "Gopher Bash," despite this episode not being featured on the VHS.
- The back cover refers to King Koopa as an evil dinosaur, when he is actually a Koopa.
- The copyright information lists the copyright information for The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, with a copyright year of 1990, despite the fact that the Super Mario World cartoon first began airing in 1991.[2]
