GameCenter CX, also known as Retro Game Master, is a Japanese television program produced by Fuji Television and Gascoin Company. The program stars Shinya Arino who plays retro video games in a commentary long-play format, where he attempts to complete the games featured.

Several games from the Super Mario franchise and Donkey Kong franchise have been featured in the program. Other Super Mario and Donkey Kong games were also featured as part of minor segments.

References in the Super Mario franchise[edit]

There are three Event Courses designed by Shinya Arino featured in Super Mario Maker for the Wii U. These courses include Arino Maker, Arino Maker Returns, and New! Arino Maker. Clearing any of the three courses will unlock the Arino KACHO Mystery Mushroom costume.
