History[edit]

Donkey Kong Country Returns / Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D[edit]

Big Screaming Pillars

These Screaming Pillars first appear in Donkey Kong Country Returns and its 3DS port. Along with regular Screaming Pillars, these Screaming Pillars appear in Jungle level Canopy Cannons, though this is the only level where they appear. If the pillars come into contact with the player(s), they instantly lose a life. Unlike regular ones, these Screaming Pillars cannot be defeated.

In Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D they also appear in the Cloud level, Crushin' Columns where they destroy various bridges and platforms to defeat the player.

Mario Golf: World Tour[edit]

These Screaming Pillars reappear in Mario Golf: World Tour, where they are present on Hole 8 of DK Jungle.
