Co Gasagoso are tiny Scuttlebugs that debut in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. In this game, they only appear in the World 3 stage Rustle Burrow. Co Gasagoso cannot be battled, but chase Mario if he gets close to them. If one of them touches Mario, he moves slower and jumps lower until it is removed, very similar to Mini Goombas in other games. They can be defeated by hitting them with a hammer, a Super Star, or a stomp. Defeating one results in getting a coin or a jump sticker, unless a Super Star is used, in which case only the coin drops.
Co Gasagoso reappear in Paper Mario: The Origami King, where they are found in the Temple of Shrooms (and generically referred to by Professor Toad as spiders) and act the same as in Sticker Star, while now using the current design of their parent species.
