History

Mario Kart: Double Dash!!

The Koopa Dasher is a lightweight kart and is available by default. It is unique among the other lightweight karts, being larger compared to the others. That said, the Koopa Dasher has a little more weight and can take stronger hits from heavier weighted karts (such as Daisy's Bloom Coach). It also has below average speed, excellent acceleration, and decent steering capabilities.

Despite it having a two star speed stat, the Koopa Dasher's speed is really tied with the Boo Pipes and the Rattle Buggy. Additionally, the Koopa Dasher bounces more than the Toad Kart and Rattle Buggy, despite being heavier than them. Lastly, while it has a four star acceleration stat, the Koopa Dasher's acceleration is equal to the Rattle Buggy and Boo Pipes, but it does have better acceleration than the Toad Kart.

Mario Kart Tour

The Koopa Dasher returns in Mario Kart Tour. It appears to be equipped with a new set of tires debuting in this game. It is classified as a Normal kart. A Rocket Start boosts the kart for a longer period of time than most other karts.
