Bzzap!
A sprite of a Bzzap!.
Sprite from Paper Mario
Appears in Paper Mario (2000)

Bzzaps! are bee enemies found mainly in the Flower Fields in Paper Mario. They attack by stinging their enemies. A Bzzap!'s sting sometimes poisons its target. Bzzaps! usually are found flying around in the open, where they swoop down in an attempt to sting Mario as a First Strike. A Bzzap! can also attack by summoning small bees to shrink Mario.

Bzzaps! also appear at the end of Forever Forest in a beehive. Near the beehive is an HP Plus Badge. Bzzaps! are off the forest's main path in a second exit. By hitting the tree they are hanging on, Mario can coax the Bzzaps! out of hiding.

According to an earlier revision of text that was left in the game, Bzzaps! and a smaller variant were going to appear in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, but they were scrapped.
