Paper money as seen in Luigi's Mansion

Bills[1][2][3] (known as Notes in British and Australian English)[4] are a kind of money in the Luigi's Mansion series that adds to the players "G" (gold) counter. They can be sucked up and collected using the various Poltergust models seen throughout the games.

History[edit]

Luigi's Mansion series[edit]

Bills first appear in the first installment of the series, Luigi's Mansion. They are worth 20,000G, making them the second-least valuable form of money in the game after coins. They come in multiple colors. These bills reappear in the Nintendo 3DS remake.

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon[edit]

Bills appear next in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, where they take the same role as they do in Luigi's Mansion. However, instead of being worth 20,000G, they are worth 5G and are colored green, making them more resemble American currency.

Luigi's Mansion 3[edit]

Bills return in Luigi's Mansion 3, where they act as they did in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Sucking on money bags with the Poltergust G-00 destroys the bags and releases several bills into the air, and destroying a piggy bank releases a few bills as well as several coins.

Super Smash Bros. series[edit]

Green Bills make an appearance in Coin Battles in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U as the most valuable of all the coins.
