An orange flower

An orange flower[1] is a type of ambient enemy encountered in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Found only in certain missions of the Haunted Towers, orange flowers hang from the ceiling and attempt to slam down on Luigi when he passes underneath them. They are used to guard various gems and other items. These flowers can be defeated by dodging their attack to make them shrivel up, then pulling them away from the ceiling with the Poltergust 5000.

When you move into range, this carnivorous plant slams to the ground. Watch the orange flower as you approach; when it starts to lunge, dash away to get clear of the impact. A-Pull the stunned flower to clear it away from the door, then enter the Greenhouse."
