The spider queen possessed by the Grouchy Possessor is the boss of Gloomy Manor in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Normally a large but harmless spider queen, she is possessed by Grouchy Possessor and turned into an aggressive, gigantic spider with green, glowing eyes.
During the events of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Gloomy Manor is onset by a spider infestation and is littered with giant webs.
Professor E. Gadd learns that a piece of the Dark Moon is in the manor's basement, as well as the probable source of the spiders, and tasks Luigi with investigating it.
Upon encountering her, she is already possessed and attacks Luigi, who manages to suck up the Grouchy Possessor controlling her. When defeated, she shrinks to her original size and scurries off, along with a swarm of smaller spiders.
The spider queen's normal appearance is that of a larger than average black spider with a red thorax and four eyes, two larger, with white sclera and black pupils, as well as eyelashes.
Upon possession, she grows exponentially and gains glowing, green eyes.
The spider queen is the only living creature to be controlled by a possessor.
