The Cellar is the final room in the Gloomy Manor in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. During the sixth mission of the Gloomy Manor, Confront the Source, Luigi must fight the Grouchy Possessor, who inhabits a massive spider.

After Luigi obtains the key to the elevator in the manor’s Lobby, he may access the Cellar. As Luigi descends in the elevator, the music abruptly stops playing, before the elevator suddenly accelerates (along with the music), violently thrusting Luigi into the Cellar.

Prior to the boss area, there is some treasure to collect. Near the staircase (which turns into a slide when Luigi attempts to walk down it) is a painting he can use the Dark-Light Device on to reveal coins. There are four cardboard boxes and a treasure chest in front of the staircase. The chest contains several coins and a Gold Bar. Certain other boxes contain more coins, though one contains a spider.

The boss area itself is infested with cobwebs varying in size, numerous spiders, a chandelier, multiple suits of armor, and even a few coins. Vacuuming the massive web attached to the north wall reveals the enormous spider the Possessor is inhabiting. During the battle, Luigi must make use of the webs, suits of armor and chandelier depending on the circumstances of each phase of the battle.

During the Gradual Infiltration bonus mission, the key is missing from the elevator gate, while the gate itself is locked. This prevents Luigi from accessing the Cellar during this particular mission.
