Moving Fences in New Super Mario Bros. 2

Moving Fences[1] are fence objects appearing in Super Mario Sunshine and New Super Mario Bros. 2. In Super Mario Sunshine, they initally appear to be stationary square fences under Pianta Village. When hit, they begin to move along their path; when they reach their destination, they hang for a few moments and then drop. In New Super Mario Bros. 2, they appear as rectangular fences that move on tracks. One moves back and forth automatically, but most activate whenever the player grabs on to them and, like in Super Mario Sunshine, drop at the ends of their tracks. They alter their elevation on the track whenever the player hits them. They appear only in World 5-Castle, where they are the basis of the level.
