Wings of Night, also known as The Sleepy Stealth Scythe, is a fighting team in the Glitz Pit that replaces King K's team in Chapter 3 after he "retires". It consists of four Swoopers, one of them being Sir Swoop. They can be fought if Mario loses enough matches to reach their rank. In the Nintendo Switch remake, they can only be fought via an Exhibition Match as it is no longer possible to derank. After Chapter 3, they are replaced by The KP Koopas and cannot be seen or fought again.

Tattle That's a Swooper. I bet they call it that 'cause of the way it swoops around. Wow! That's some AWESOME naming work. Seriously! It's pure naming genius!!! So, anyway... Max HP is 6, Attack is 3, and Defense is 0. Says here it hangs from the ceiling. If you can just damage it, it oughta drop off the ceiling. And then you can whack it!
