Mandibugs are beetle-like enemies found solely in Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel, Super Mario Galaxy 2. They infested the Honeyhive Galaxy and are led by Bugaboom. They are apparently unfriendly neighbors of the Bees, and they take over the Bees' observation tower in the mission "Trouble on the Tower". One can be defeated by executing a Ground Pound on its back. Along with the Honeyhive Galaxy, Mandibugs appear in a handful of other locations, including the Honeyclimb Galaxy and on Airships.
