Mystery Box (Captain Command)

Template:Attack-infobox Chance is the third captain command in the Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser mode of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions. It costs three CP to use. When used, the captain will hit a block to either give themselves and their squad a beneficial status effect, or the opposing squad a detrimental status effect. Other than CP, there is no real limit to how and when the command can be used, and the captain in question can continue using it as many times as they wish, so long as they have enough CP. Captain Goomba, Captain Boo, and Captain Koopa Troopa as well as a few enemy captains can use it.

This captain command returns in the Bowser Jr.'s Journey mode of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, under the name Mystery Box and used by Wendy. It costs her four CP to use, and upon using it three possible outcomes will be shown. After hitting it, if the outcome is one the player doesn't want, they can press B Button to repeat and get another one, although it can only be repeated once.
