Joke's End is a frozen palace in the Beanbean Kingdom. The only route to Joke's End is via surfing across Oho Ocean using Luigi in surfboard form or by using a green Warp Pipe. Mario and Luigi travel to this palace during the events of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions. Joke's End is inhabited by Jojora and her friends; despite one line of dialogue stated by Jojora suggesting that there are or have been more people living in Joke's End, they seem to be its only occupants, besides a single Beanish character, presumably a visitor, seen on the entrance staircase. Keeping with the theme of locations in the Beanbean Kingdom being named after laughter sounds (Chucklehuck Woods, Teehee Valley, Hoohoo Mountain, etc.), Joke's End is also known to be a graveyard for bad jokes, though none of these dead jokes are seen. Throughout Joke's End, Mario and Luigi often must split up to solve puzzles and progress.

The palace is almost entirely made of snow and ice, resembling the Crystal Palace from Paper Mario. Its design includes several statues of Beanish-esque characters giving horrified looks; these monuments may be headstones for the palace's aforementioned and unseen dead jokes.

The final green pipe in the game, #9 (#13 in the remake), is located at the entrance to Joke's End.

The Save Album areas include Joke's End First Floor, Joke's End Second Floor, Joke's End Third Floor, Joke's End Fifth Floor, and Joke's End Reception Room.

Beanholes

Every Beanhole contains one Chuckle Bean.

At the shore with all the boulders, the player should break the central one that is almost completely surrounded by other boulders. Then at the spot where the boulder once was, Mario should hammer Luigi there/in the spot that was hidden there to uncover the bean.
Going up the flight of stairs until they reach the two large statues, the player should perform Luigi Dunk directly south of the eastern statue/in the spot south of the eastern statue to uncover the bean.
In the large area with the first Joke's Soup Broth, the beanhole is located in the northwestern corner.
In the same area, Mario should hammer Luigi in front of the vat of broth/in the spot in front of the vat of broth to uncover a bean.
In the same area, the player should enter the northeastern door, then in the next area, head north and break the weak wall with the hammer, then continue north to the next area. The beanhole is on the higher elevated ground in the northeastern corner.
Going west from the same area, the player will find the beanhole near the western wall.
On the second floor, where the Bros. separate, the beanhole is southeast of the Save Album.
It is recommended to locate the following beanholes once the Mario Bros. reunite. Going through the door, then up the flight of stairs, the beanhole is found in the next room, in the northwest corner near the room's map.
From the same area, the player should head north, west, south, west, north, and continue north on the eastern path until they reach the bridge connecting both paths, then head north on the western path, and follow the path going south two screens. The beanhole is around the corner, southwest of the metal gate.
Going back to the two paths, the player should head south on the western path to the next area, head east, then northeast through the doorway. The beanhole is southeast from the Simu Block.
Leaving the area, and going east, the beanhole can be found in the northeast corner.
In the area with the second vat of Joke's Soup Broth, the player should Perform Luigi Dunk directly in front of it/in the spot in front of it to uncover another bean. Then, the player should head west to find a beanhole near the western wall.
On the fifth floor, the player should make their way east on the low ground to find a recessed area where the beanhole is at.
If the player returns to this area after completing Joke's End, the table and seats will be gone. In the room where the Mario Bros. fight Jojora and her friend, Mario should hammer Luigi directly north of the table/in the only beanhole to retrieve the bean.

Hidden Blocks

Every Hidden Block contains one Hoo Bean.

In the area with the first Joke's Soup Broth, the Mario Bros. should go through the northeast doorway into the next area. There, the Bros. should climb up the platform and High Jump up to the higher one, then jump at the center to reveal the hidden block.
In the area with the first fireplace, the Mario Bros. should find a high platform on the southwestern area. High Jumping up it and jumping at the center will uncover another hidden block.
It is recommended to find the next two hidden blocks once the Mario Bros. reunite. On the second floor, in the area where the brothers separate, they should go north through the doorway, up the stairs, then north through another doorway. In the next area, the Bros. should High Jump up the northwestern platform, then jump at the center to reveal the hidden block.
From the same area, the Mario Bros. should head west, then south, west, then continue continue north on the eastern path until they reach the bridge connecting both paths, then head south on the western path into the next area. The Bros. should High Jump up the high platform in the southwest, then jump at the center to reveal the hidden block.
On the fifth floor, the Mario Bros. should climb up the steps to the high ground, then continue east until they find a low elevated platform near the eastern edge. Jumping at the center of it will uncover the hidden block.
