The Seabed, also known as the Oho Ocean Seabed,[1] is an underwater network of platforms located under Oho Ocean which appears in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its Nintendo 3DS version. It connects Oho Oasis, Gwarhar Lagoon, and the eastern part of Beanbean Fields.

During their journey, Mario and Luigi initially travel through here to return to Beanbean Castle Town from Oho Oasis after learning the Firebrand and Thunderhand. They return here later in the game after the S.S. Chuckola sinks, en route to Gwarhar Lagoon while searching for the first Beanstar piece.

Beanholes[edit]

Every Beanhole contains one Chuckle Bean.

Location Image Image (Remake)
From the yellow pipe entry to Oho Oasis, the player should head west two screens into the large area and swim southeast until they find the beanhole in the corner. Bean spot in the Seabed, in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. Location of the second beanhole in Oho Oasis.
In the same area, the player should swim all the way to the low ground in the northwest, High Jump up to the platform and then swim east all the way to the high platform. Performing Luigi Dunk in the center of the platform will uncover the bean. In the remake, the spot is visble and can be reached just by swimming upwards due to new underwater physics. Hidden bean spot in the Seabed, in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. Location of the third beanhole in Oho Oasis.
The S.S Chuckola must have already sunk in order to access the next beanholes.
From the yellow pipe entry to the eastern Beanbean Outskirts, the player should swim east one screen, High Jump up the steps to swim over the S.S. Chuckola and head northeast, swim southwest to the next area, then southeast, and then southeast until they reach a wall of red coral reefs. After making the yellow coral reef disappear, the Bros. should make their way to the small rock/spot southwest of the gate and perform Luigi Dunk on it to uncover a bean.

Once Mario learns the ability to surf the Oho Ocean, the player should head to the eastern Beanbean Outskirts beaches and surf one screen east, one screen south, two screens east and one more screen south to find a whirlpool. The player should enter the whirlpool to reach the otherwise inaccessible, easternmost part of the Seabed. In this area, the player will immediately find four beanholes in one spot. Then, the player should swim all the way to the southwest until they see higher elevated ground that leads to another area. By standing on this ground, the player should swim east all the way until they reach a third platform with a mark/spot on it. Performing Luigi Dunk on the mark/spots will uncover the beans. In the remake, these beans can be obtained right after S. S. Chuckola sinks due to new underwater physics. Bean spot in the Seabed, in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga.
