Cyclone Bros. is one of Luigi's Bros. Attacks in the game Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its 3DS remake, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions. The move costs eight BP on Modes 1 and 2, and four BP on Mode 3. In the remake, the move costs thirteen/fifteen BP on Normal, and sixteen/eighteen BP on Easy. Luigi learns this move after acquiring Secret Scroll 2 in the Hammerhead Bros.' Cave with the Ultra Hammer. The move is very powerful, and can damage many enemies. The move begins with pressing the B Button to have Luigi hammer Mario down to a smaller size. By rapidly pressing the A Button, Mario will begin spinning, Luigi jumps on top, and the bros. spin toward an enemy, Luigi holding out his hammer. After one enemy is hit, the player can use the +Control Pad to choose another, or leave it alone to continue whacking the same enemy. The number of hits equals the number of times the "Good!" attack rating appears on the screen plus one. Therefore, if three "Good!"s appear, the brothers will be allowed four hits.

After successfully executing the attack twenty-one times, the brothers learn the Advanced version. This is the only Advanced Bros. Attack that Luigi thinks of in the original game, a trait applied to his other three in the remake. The Advanced version adds an extra hit at the end of the assault. To execute the Advanced version, the player must press B Button after the last hit, as Luigi is leaning backwards. Luigi and Mario will stand up straight, and pressing A Button at the right time will have Luigi deliver a blow that may make enemies dizzy.

Trivia[edit]

  • Mario learns all the Advanced versions of all Bros. Attacks except for Cyclone Bros. in the original game, because the A Button button is required to activate their Advanced versions. In Cyclone Bros., the B Button button is the requirement to activate its Advanced version.
    • In the 3DS remake, although Luigi is shown thinking of the Advanced versions of his Bros. Attacks, the final two inputs of Super Cyclone Bros. are swapped, so the first new input is actually the A Button button.
  • In the 3DS remake, the final hit of Advanced Cyclone Bros. deals more damage if the final Action Command is missed.
