Shops are small stores that sell goods during the events of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions. There are 5 shops in total in the Beanbean Kingdom, 2 being Item Shops, 2 being Gear Shops, and one Beanish that sells the player a Recovery Set. There are no counters that fully restore the player's HP and BP, or any Badge Shops, as Badges in this game are used as accessories, therefore being sold in Gear Shops. All Clothing has 3 types: Worn by Mario, Luigi, or either. Shops can only be found in Beanbean Castle Town, Little Fungitown, and Hoohoo Village. All shops, excluding the recovery kit, will charge less Coins for items and will give more Coins for selling items the higher the player's Stache is.
