"Cackletta, the Fiercest Foe"[1] is a musical theme composed by Yoko Shimomura for Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, where it plays during cutscenes involving Cackletta.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga / Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions[edit]

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga marks the first appearance of "Cackletta, the Fiercest Foe".

A medley arrangement of "Fawful Music" and "Cackletta, the Fiercest Foe" plays during the first boss battle against Cackletta, as well as during the second boss battle against Fawful in the Japanese version. It is titled "Fawful and Cackletta" in the Nintendo 3DS remake's sound test.

In the Nintendo 3DS remake of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions, an arrangement of "Cackletta, the Fiercest Foe" plays for the same purpose as in the original game. It is titled "Cackletta, the Fiercest Foe DX" in the game's sound test.

In Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, a brief arrangement of "Cackletta, the Fiercest Foe" is incorporated in the theme that plays inside Peach's Castle during Fawful's take over approximately 48 seconds in. It is titled "The Castle Depths" in the Nintendo 3DS remake's sound test.
