Slurples have light blue skin, big eyes, and snouts. They move by bouncing and will attack by latching onto Mario and sucking health from him like alien leeches. In addition to damage, Mario's movement speed is slowed while a Slurple is attached to him. Slurples act similarly to the Fuzzys in the Paper Mario series. They can be defeated with a Star Spin or a flung Star Bit. If hit with a Star Bit, they will yield three additional Star Bits, while they will only yield one if spun.
