It can be a great hindrance to [[Mario]], as he is rendered vulnerable to many attacks if frozen by the creature. It appears in battles along with [[Frost Piranha]]s. These blue clouds of the Ruff Puff family are immune to [[Ice Storm|ice]] attacks, which heal them instead, and if Mario jumps on an Ice Puff when it is using its freezing charge, it will damage Mario in the same manner as if a [[Dark Puff]] was charging.
