A Lock-on Ground Pound is a Ground Pound seen in Super Mario Galaxy. If Mario or Luigi does a Ground Pound while Star Spinning, the will finish the spin, then pound. If they are near a target, like a Goomba, it will be defeated, even if the Bro. isn't directly above it.
