Back Cursyas are a sub-species of Cursyas from Super Paper Mario. They can be distinguished from other Cursyas because of their gray color. If players touch a Back Cursya, they will be sent back to Flipside, so it is recommended that Boomer, Cudge or Bowser's Fire Breath is used to defeat one.

Back Cursyas are the only Cursyas without a Dark form, probably because the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials would be much harder if the player was constantly sent back to Flopside.
Piccolo can instantly remove any curse placed upon the characters, though it won't help in this situation.
It's name comes from the fact that it curses the player to be sent back to Flipside.
Like Spinias, Back Cursyas are essentially a stack of paper thin disks with eyes. However, The discs of a cursya sway free and are not attached like a Spinia.
Also like Spinias, they are three dimensional enemies.
