It isn't clearly known where Diamond City is located. The WarioWare series suggests that the city is possibly located on Earth (mostly from various statements made by the alien Orbulon). A map of Earth that can be seen in Wario's House would seem to support this assumption. Earth is also seen in the opening cutscene of Gold, significantly resembling the real world Earth as opposed to the Earth seen in main series Mario games such as Super Mario Odyssey. However, the Diamond City race course in Mario Kart Arcade GP features symbols such as E. Gadd's logo and Magic Paintbrushes, indicating that it might be somewhere on the Mushroom World instead.

Diamond City is a city in the WarioWare series. Wario claims that it is "his city" that he has made into a "sparkling gem of a metropolis." Here, Wario and his friends develop microgames for WarioWare, Inc., and most of them reside here.

Location[edit]

Diamond City as seen in WarioWare: Get It Together!

Diamond City is mentioned by Orbulon to be located on Earth. A map of a planet vaguely resembling the real Earth can be seen in Wario's House in WarioWare: Twisted!, with a more accurate depiction appearing in his house in WarioWare: Touched!, WarioWare: Smooth Moves, and Game & Wario. However, a completely different Earth-like planet is seen in the opening and ending cutscene of WarioWare Gold and in WarioWare: Get It Together!. In the opening cutscene of WarioWare: Get It Together!, structures from Santa Monica and Century City in California are used.[1][2] Additionally, descriptions for Orbulon's microgames mention Asia and Japan, though he visits completely fictional locations during the cutscene for his Culture microgames.

In WarioWare: Twisted!, it can be seen that Diamond City is located on an island.
