Boxed Up is one of the microgames in the Wario Bug's Anything Goes level in WarioWare: Get It Together!

Gameplay[edit]

The object of the microgame is to avoid being captured by Wario, who puts his hands into a box in an effort to capture the player's character. If the character evades him for long enough, the microgame is won. If the character is captured, Wario chuckles and the microgame is lost. Additionally, Wario appears excited whenever the character is close to getting caught, and flinches whenever one of his arms or hands is attacked.

  • Level 1: Wario puts one arm into the box.
  • Level 2: Wario puts both arms into the box, one at a time.
  • Level 3: Wario puts both arms into the box at the same time.

If two players are used, both players have to survive to win. The player that gets captured by Wario's hand loses an effort point or, in the case of Rising Star, a star. If both players are captured, no effort points or stars are deducted.

Kat & Ana
  • Free flying characters are above-average fits since they can easily fly to wherever they will not be captured by Wario.
  • Master Mantis is an above-average fit due to his upside-down walking ability, making it easier to avoid being captured.
  • Lulu's floating and fast ground pound can easily avoid her being captured, but her upward movement is slow, making her an above-average fit.
  • Young Cricket is an average fit since he can jump on Wario's arm to try to avoid being captured at the risk of making contact with his hand.
  • 5-Volt is an average fit since she can stand on Wario's arm to try to avoid being captured and she will drop down after teleporting.
  • 18-Volt is a below-average fit due to his lack of mobility, requiring him to use a ring while Wario's arm is on the bottom.
  • 9-Volt is also a below-average fit due to his constant movement requiring him to use a ring while Wario's arm is on the bottom.
  • Mona is a below-average fit due to her constant movement easily causing her to be captured by Wario.
  • Kat & Ana are a bad fit for this microgame, as they can be captured by Wario easily due to their constant jumping.
