Observation is one of Wario's microgames played during the Wario Coaster stage in WarioWare: Snapped!

Gameplay[edit]

Before the microgame begins, the player is required to make use of the Nintendo DSi camera and line up their face with the picture in the center of the screen.

A black spot is shown on the screen, and the player needs to move closer to the camera in order to inspect the spot's true nature and win the microgame. There's a variety of possible scenarios:

  • There is a tiny spot in the center of the screen. Closing in reveals the tiny spot to be a man in his underwear reading a magazine.
  • There is a gap between the front teeth of a toothy grin. Closing in reveals a pink bird peeping out of the gap as a blue bird perches next to the gap to deliver a flower.
  • There is a mole on the upper lip of a man's face. Closing in reveals the "mole" to actually be the snout of a dog.

After the five microgames of the Wario Coaster have been cleared, a slideshow of candid short videos of the player during gameplay of each microgame can be viewed. The photo animation for Observation shows the player constantly moving closer and further from the camera.
